Sonia qualified as at Dental Hygienist from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2006, obtaining the prestigious Tutor’s Prize. She served for 15 years in the Royal Navy and travelled extensively whilst serving on board many of the larger ships. She subsequently returned to “Dry-Land” and now enjoys working in civilian practice.

Sonia is originally from Plymouth and has worked in the dental sector since the age of 16 when she began her career in dental nursing.

She is qualified as a dental radiographer, has gained a certificate in Oral Health Promotion and a diploma in Health and Nutrition. Sonia is passionate about the prevention of dental disease and has become a very popular hygienist.
