Dr Patel graduated in dentistry, with honours, from Cardiff University in 2012 and attained the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2013. After working in general dental practice, Mital subsequently worked for two years as a Senior House Officer in various hospitals around the country where he has gained wide-ranging experience in oral surgery and restorative dentistry, before deciding to pursue a career in periodontics.

Mital completed his four-year specialist programme in Periodontology at Guy’s Hospital (Kings College, London) in 2019. He is an active member of the British Society of Periodontology and The European Federation of Periodontology. He has a particular interest in treating nervous patients with sedation and is a member of SAAD (Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry).

Mital joined Emsworth Specialist Practice in 2018 and is enthusiastic about treating patients with a wide variety of complex gum problems. He is experienced in all aspects of non-surgical and surgical periodontal therapies.
