Jaume (James) studied Dentistry at the University in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. He is a third-generation dentist trained by world-renowned Dentists, Periodontists, Maxillofacial Surgeons, and Implantologists from Europe and the USA. In 2004 he achieved a master’s degree from the University of Barcelona.

James is a Registered Specialist in Oral Surgery with a Special Interest in Periodontics.
Prior to moving to the UK, James was an Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona. He is author of eight Medline PubMed (peer-reviewed) scientific articles, a lecturer at dental congresses and has attended hundreds of courses, seminars and lectures to improve his practice to the highest level.

In 2016, James started working in the UK as an Oral Surgery Consultant at the Royal South Hampshire Hospital, Southampton. He also trained in sedation techniques at the Hospital so that anxious patients can enjoy stress-free dental treatment. James subsequently joined local private dental practices taking periodontal, oral surgery and implant patients by referral.

In 2019 he completed his PhD doctorate in Dentistry.

James is proud of his clinical work and achieves high success rates for periodontal treatment and implant osseointegration. To date he has placed over five thousand dental implants.

James joined ESP Dental in April 2022 and is focused on providing our patients with the highest quality periodontal and dental implant treatment in a calm and relaxing environment.
