Our Goal.

Our main goal is to restore your gum health, stop your gums bleeding and save your teeth. This is especially important if you are thinking about dental implants, as gum infection can also cause failure of implants.

Our staff are highly trained and our dentists are registered as specialists with the General Dental Council. We are accredited members of the “British Dental Association’s Good Practice Scheme” and were winners in the prestigious “Private Dentistry Awards 2012”. This was a peer reviewed U.K. award in the category “Best Periodontic Practice”.

Over 250 dentists in Southern England refer their patients to us for our highly effective specialist treatment. Many of these consider our practice an extension of their own and we always liaise closely about your care. We aim to refer you back to your referring dentist when your treatment is complete.

Frequently Asked Questions.

To be seen by one of our specialists you must first be referred to us by your GDP (General Dental Practitioner). If you think you need to see a specialist about your gums, please speak to your Dentist. If they feel you could benefit by seeing a specialist they will refer you to us.
Once we receive the referral from your GDP we will contact you to make a consultation appointment with one of our Specialist Periodontists. The appointment will take approximately 75 minutes and during this time you will receive a thorough examination, x-rays (if required), a treatment plan and an estimate of costs. Everything will be explained to you and you will have plenty of time to discuss your options and ask any questions you might have. You should leave the appointment with a good understanding of what will happen at your next visit. Before leaving, one of our friendly reception team will help you to make any subsequent appointments.
If you need to change or cancel an appointment we require at least 24 hours’ notice so that we can offer the appointment to someone else. There is a 50% charge for failing to attend an appointment without telling us, and for cancelling without giving us 24 hours’ notice.
All of our staff are extremely caring and are more than happy to do whatever they can to help put you at ease. Whether you are in the reception area, the waiting room or the surgery, any member of our team will be happy to help. Speak to one of our receptionists when you arrive and let them know how you are feeling.

If you are not an existing patient, already under the care of one of our specialists and you haven’t been referred to us by your GDP then you may book an appointment via our direct access hygiene route. For more information on direct access please visit www.hygienistsdirect.com

We spread the cost of your treatment plan so that you only pay for the treatment you received that day. We don’t currently offer patient finance but it might be an option in the future.
